He has an extensive experience of preparing antidumping cases/applications for the domestic industry and providing professional result oriented services to foreign producers/exporters, as well as importers and end users in Pakistan in compliance with the WTO Agreement on Antidumping, Antidumping Duties Ordinance 2000 and Antidumping Duties Rules 2001. He has been providing antidumping consultancy services to a large number of foreign companies in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, and China. For attending various seminars & international conferences he has often traveled to Netherlands, Brussels, India and Dubai etc.
Mr. Khan has taken initiative to promote the concept of Sustainability Reporting in Pakistan in line with the GRI – Sustainability Reporting Framework. He is involved in advising clients in the development of their CSR strategies and policy development as well as assisting them in communication process.
His articles relating to Antidumping and WTO were published in different renowned magazines and he has presented papers on various emerging issues like “Antidumping laws and Practices”, “Antidumping Laws and its Implications for Pakistan”, “WTO Regime and productive role of Management Accountants”, “Trade Remedy Laws of WTO”, and Sustainable Development and Reporting before various government bodies, trade associations, chambers of commerce and various private sector organizations etc.
In the areas of Antitrust & Competition, Mr. Khan is providing advisory services to clients and suggesting ways and means to comply with the relevant provisions of the prevalent law, protecting their interests through invoking the provisions of the law and pleading their case before the Competition Commission of Pakistan to avoid any likely adverse action against clients
Mr. Khan is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors – USA, Fellow Member of the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA) and Member Rawalpindi/Islamabad Tax Bar Association (RITBA).
