Initiation of a Sunset Review of AD Investigation of BOPP Film Against China, Oman, Saudi Arabia and UAE

On July 27, 2020, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan has initiated sunset review of anti-dumping duties imposed on dumped imports of Biaxially Oriented PolyPropylene (BOPP) Film ranging from 22.95 percent to 57.09 percent originating in and / or exported from the People’s Republic of China, Sultanate of Oman, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. As a result of this initiation, the anti-dumping duties which will now continue till the conclusion of this review. It is expected that on the conclusion of this review, antidumping duty will be extended for another period of 5 years.
