On March 31, 2024, the National Tariff Commission has initiated an anti-dumping investigation against dumped imports of “Chlorinated Paraffin Wax (CPW) into Pakistan Originating in and/or Exported from the People’s Republic of China, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the State of Qatar.

Our firm, S.U.Khan Associates Corporate & Legal Consultants prepared and filed this application for imposition of anti-dumping measures, on the behalf of M/s Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited . We are hopeful that as a result of this investigation, dumped/unfair imports from China, Iran and Qatar would be restricted through the imposition of definitive measures and the domestic industry producing the domestic like product would have better chances to flourish.
