On December 10, 2024, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan announced the imposition of definitive antidumping duties on imports of “Chlorinated Paraffin Wax (CPW)” from the People’s Republic of China, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the State of Qatar. These antidumping duties, effective for a period of five years starting from August 04, 2024, are as follows:

The imposition of these duties, which may be extended after periodic reviews, aims to provide necessary protection to our valued client (M/s. Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited, Lahore) against unfair trade practices, including dumping by foreign exporters.
